Whole Wheat Dinner Roll

Introduction

Ingredients

    1 C plus 1 tablespoon warm water
    1 tablespoon butter
    2 tablespoons brown sugar
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 tablespoon powdered milk
    1 cup white flour
    1 cup whole wheat flour
    1 1/2 teaspoons yeast
    1 tablespoon ground flaxseed

Directions

Place ingredients in the bread machine in order listed. Set on dough cycle. When complete, place dough on lightly floured surface and shape into 12 equal portions. Grease a 9 inch square pan and place balls in the pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cover and let rolls rise for 1 hour. Bake 20 minutes.
