Vegan S'Mores

Submitted by: SUNNYH99

Introduction

I love Sweet and Sara's new vegan S'Mores but at almost $5 each (2 servings) I don't want to buy them often. So I bought a package of Sweet and Sara's vanilla marshmallows, little cubes of squishy goodness, some organic graham crackers and a bar of Whole Foods dark chocolate. Et voila! Ingredients

1 sheet of Graham Crackers (considered 1/2 a svg)
1 Sweet and Sara vegan marshmallow (about 1" cube)
4 small squares of Whole Foods vegan dark chocolate (1/3 svg)

Directions

Place half a sheet of graham cracker (1 square) on a microwavable plate. Place marshmallow and chocolate on top and microwave for 10 seconds, check and if not melted yet, give it another 10 seconds (SparkRecipe wouldn't let me give this a 20 second cook time!). When ready, marshmallow with puff up. Stop right them, take it out and top this with the other graham cracker square. Let it cool a little. Enjoy!

You could also make S'mores the traditional way by toasting the marshmallow on a stick over a fire and assembling the treat when it's ready. You could also assemble the components raw, wrap in foil and place in coals or atop a grill briefly. Try and learn. I haven't yet so I cannot tell you the best way!

Serving Size: Makes 1 yummy treat that others will covet! So make more!
