Taco Soup

Introduction

On a family vacation each family was responsible for a dinner and breakfast. My sister in law made this soup and we all loved it. I have altered the original recipe for my kids tastes. I did not calculate the garnish in the nutritional info since those are optional. On a family vacation each family was responsible for a dinner and breakfast. Ingredients

    1lb ground chicken
    I package taco seasoning divided
    1 15oz can Chili Beans
    1 14.5oz can Stewed Tomatoes Mexican Recipe
    1 6oz can Tomatoe Paste no salt added
    1 8oz can Tomatoe Sauce no salt added
    3 cups water

Directions

In large soup pot, brown ground chicken. I sprinkle about half the taco seasoning on the chicken while I am bowning it so the meat picks up the flavor. Drain off any fat. Add next six ingredients and bring to boil. Let simmer for about 15 minutes. Garnish soup with shredded cheese, fresh avacado, corn chips and sour cream as desired.
