1 - 1.25lb. package of 93% Fat Free ground turkey
2 - egg whites
1 - packet Lipton onion soup mix (dry)
1/2 cup Textured Vegetable Protein (also called TVP)
Combine all ingredients.
Fill a muffin tin with contents (should make 9)
Bake for 25 minutes.
6 grams of carbs per meatloaf.
** A note on TVP **
This can usually be found in the organic/health food aisle, and the predominant manufacturer is "Bob's Red Mill," but there may be others. It is a stand in for breadcrumbs, and is much healthier, giving the food vegetable protein while not overloading it with carbs. No one can taste the difference. You can also use it in place of breadcrumbs for breading meat.
