Ingredients

14 oz (400 grams)Extra Lean Beef ground Mince,
2 tsp Olive Oil,
1 medium Onions, chopped
1 medium stalk Celery, finely chopped
1 1/2 oz (45g) 97% Fat Free Bacon, eye fillet only chopped
1 3/4 cups (@400g) Diced Caned Tomatoes, No Salt Added,
1 Tblspn No Added Salt Tomato Paste
1 cup Chicken stock, home-prepared,
2 tsp Oregano, ground,
1/4 tsp Pepper, black,
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
4 cups Pasta, cooked,(@ 450 grams)
2 tsp Splenda No Calorie Sweetener,
Directions
Heat oil in a large skillet and add onion and celery. Cook over a medium heat, while stirring for 5 minutes or until soft.
Add the bacon, ground beef, and cook, while stirring, for 5 minutes. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, stock, oregano, garlic powder and pepper. Bring to the boil and reduce the heat. Cover and simmer for @ 15 minutes, then simmer uncovered for 10 minutes. Add splenda and stir.
Place 1 cup of pasta in a bowl and serve with the bolognaise sauce. Serve immediately.
