spaghetti Sauce.

Introduction

spaghetti sauce with ground turkey and fresh vegetables spaghetti sauce with ground turkey and fresh vegetables
Number of Servings: 15

Ingredients

    1.3 lbs 99% fat free ground turkey
    1 35 oz can crushed tomatoes with basil
    1 24 oz jar Prego Italian Sauce Mushroom and garlic
    One onion medium size diced
    one bag kroger 3 pepper and onion blend
    one green pepper diced
    3 cloves garlic
    1 tablespoon olive oil to saute vegetables and ground turkey.

    I added the following spices to taste:
    salt, pepper, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, fresh basil
    sorry I'm not a measuring kinda cook :)

Directions

saute vegetables in olive oil (I like to thaw the frozen peppers before cooking)

Brown ground turkey in separate skilled

combine ingredients in large pot. I used a slow cooker so I could let it simmer for about 4 hours and let the flavors blend. add spices to taste while simmering.

Serving Size: makes about 15 3/4 cup servings
