Ingredients

    1 CUP OLD FASHIONED QUAKER OATS
    1 CUP LOWFAT BUTTERMILK
    1 CUP WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR
    ½ tsp BAKING POWDER
    ½ tsp BAKING SODA
    1 tsp SALT
    ¼ CUP SWEETENED APPLESAUCE (CAN USE UNSWEETENED IF YOU WISH)
    ¾ CUP SPLENDA BROWN SUGAR BLEND
    1 CUP CHOPPED WALNUTS
    1 TBS GROUND CINNAMON
    2 CUPS MASHED RIPE BANANAS
    3 TBS MILLED/GROUND FLAXSEEDS

Directions

MIX THE OATMEAL AND BUTTERMILK AND SET ASIDE.

MIX THE FLOUR, BAKING SODA, BAKING POWDER, SALT AND CINNAMON AND SET ASIDE

ADD EGG, BANANAS, APPLESAUCE AND SPLENDA BROWN SUGAR TO BOWL OF MIXER AND MIX ON MEDIUM FOR THREE MINUTES.

ADD OATMEAL MIXTURE AND WALNUTS TO BANANA BATTER

THEN STIR IN THE FLOUR MIXTURE

SPRAY MUFFIN TINS WITH BUTTER FLAVORED COOKING SPRAY AND FILL 3/4 FULL.

BAKE IN 375 OVEN FOR 17-19 MINUTES UNTIL A TOOTHPICK COMES OUT CLEAN.
