1 1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons pure almond extract
2/3 cups skim milk
1 1/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 stick melted butter
Add 1 1/4 cup flour, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Add 1 stick melted margerine
Pour batter into a non-stick sprayed pan sprinkled heavily with flour so it comes out easily. Bake at 350ºF for 40-50 minutes (depending on oven). Edges must be golden brown. Cool in pan briefly (3 minutes or less) before removing onto serving platter. Cake will break if removed too soon.
Sprinkle with confectionary sugar and serve with fresh fruit or berries with ice cream or whipped cream. Nutella is also good. Do not wash you special pan in the dishwasher.
Serving Size: Makes 18 1/2inch slices, depending on the number of segments in your pan.
