Single-Serving Fresh Bread

Introduction

I modified the Grissini Recipe so I can use the dough for other things like a fresh baked roll, apple braid or a fresh bread stick. I used less olive oil than the original Grissini Bread stick recipe calls for. Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    *Flour, white, 2 cup (remove)
    Yeast, bakers, 2 ounce (remove)
    Water, tap, 1 cup (8 fl oz) (remove)
    Granulated Sugar, 2 tsp (remove)
    Olive Oil, 1.5 tbsp (remove)

Directions

Place warm water and yeast in stand mixer bowl. Let yeast dissolve. Add 1 cup of flour and start mixing with bread hook on automatic mixer.
Add rest of ingredients including olive oil.
Knead for a good 10 minutes.
Place in bowl greased in a very thin layer of olive oil.
After it rises about 1 hour. Press down and split into 10 servings. Freeze in plastic wrap and in freezer bag and use when needed.
Take out of freezer, let stand 3 hours and shape into the bread you want to eat. Such as a dinnner roll, bread stick or flatten out and add your fruit of the day in the middle and bake.
