Corn Chowder

Ingredients

    6 medium potatoes
    1/2 lbs. bacon
    2 small onions (diced)
    4 cups milk
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 cup corn
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 tsp. parsley flakes
    potatoe flakes (optional)

Directions

Cut potatoes into bite-sized pieces, boil until soft, drain. Dice bacon and fry until almost crisp; drain. Add onions to bacon; cook until tender. Heat milk, but do not boil. Add bacon and onions to warming milk; stir in potatoes and remaining ingredients. Add potato flakes to thicken if desired. Let simmer for 1 hour.
