IntroductionYou get better flavor with regular canned beans and also using 1 cup sugar rather than Splenda. You get better flavor with regular canned beans and also using 1 cup sugar rather than Splenda.
1 can No Salt Cut Green Beans
1 can French Style Green Beans
1 can No Salt Sweet Peas
1 can Shoepeg Corn
1 C. chopped Celery
1/2 C. chopped Onion (I like red)
1/2 C. chopped Red or Green Pepper
3/4 C. Splenda (1 C. Sugar)
1/2 C. Cider Vinegar
1/2 C. Canola Oil
1/2 tsp. Black Pepper
(Salt may be added)
Mix vinegar, oil and black pepper. Heat and add Splenda. If using sugar, heat it with vinegar and oil. COOL
Pour liquid over vegetables and chill.
Serving size is 1/2 cup.
Note: Nutritional values are based on no salt vegetables and Splenda. Also no added salt.
