Introduction

Delicious green beans with a protein punch! Delicious green beans with a protein punch!
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    Green beans, fresh (approx. 1-1/2 pounds)
    1 T Olive Oil
    1 T Butter
    Edamame, shelled, 1/2-cup
    Almonds, sliced or slivered (1/2-cup)
    Garlic, 3 cloves (or more, if you prefer), very finely chopped

Directions

Wash and trim fresh green beans. Steam green beans until tender to fork (approximately 5 minutes). While beans are steaming, lightly saute garlic and edamame in olive oil. Add almonds and saute until lightly toasted. Add steamed green beans and butter, tossing everything together. Makes 10 servings, approximately 1/2-cup each.
