Tricia's Mac & Cheese

Introduction

Homemade mac & cheese inspired by my mother. Homemade mac & cheese inspired by my mother.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    3 cups elbow noodles, dried
    12 oz cheddar, diced small
    1.5 cups of milk

    cook the noodles. While they are draining, add milk and cheese to pot and heat up until cheese is melted (the cheese will not completely mix with the milk - this is NOT a creamy mac & cheese). Mix the noodles in for a yummy, gooey dish that is only 266 calories per serving.

    (suggestion - try throwing in a little fresh Parmesan or Romano cheese for a flavor intensifier)
