I large can of diced Tomatoes with herbs 1 pkg of Onion Soup mix 1 or 2 cans of Beets 3 small potatoes with skin on 4 cups of shredded or chopped Cabbage water - use the tomato can as a measure. a little coarsely ground pepper
Cut the washed potatoes into large pieces & place in the crock pot. Layer the cabbage over them & sprinkle on the onion soup mix. Add the Beets including the juice & pour the tomatoes over the beets. Add 1 to 3 cans of water as needed without overfilling the crock pot. You can add pepper if desired. Turn the pot on to HIGH for the first hour & then down to LOW. Or, if you're gone for the day, turn on to LOW & leave for the day. This will produce 8 1.5 cup servings.
