Beef and Lentils

Ingredients

    3/4 c lentils
    3 c water
    3/4 lb ground beef
    1/4 c ketchup
    2 T molasses
    1.5 t brown sugar splenda
    1 T worshestershire sauce
    1 bay leaf
    1 t salt
    pinch cloves

Directions

In a large saucepan, simmer water, lentils, salt, bay leaf and onion for 30 min. Cook ground beef and drain off fat and rinse. Combine ground beef and all other ingredients with the lentil mixture and simmer 30 min more. Makes 4 servings.
