Ingredients

    Mild Cardamon Tisane
    1/4 c Cardamom pods
    2 Ceylon Tea bags
    Boiling Water
    1/3 cup Honey or Sweetener to taste
    2% Milk


    Spicy Cardamom Tisane
    1/4 c Cardamom pods
    1/4 tsp Peppercorns
    1/4 tsp Cloves
    1/4 tsp Cinnamon
    4 Thin slices of Ginger
    2 Ceylon Tea bags
    Boiling Water
    1/3 cup Honey or Sweetener to taste
    2% Milk

Directions

Bring 1 quart of spring water to a boil. Add cardamom pods, peppercorns, cloves, cinnamon and ginger to water and boil for 3 minutes. Remove from heat. Cover and let steep for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove the tea bags. Strain as you pour it into your teapot. Add honey or sweetener and milk to taste. Pour into cups. Garish with a cardamom pod if desired.
