Blackberry Topping

Introduction

Since we have so much fruit this time of year, I decided to make my own fruit toppings for yogurt. When finished I ended up with 2 cups of topping. I use about 2 tbsp of topping for 1/2 cup yogurt. Since we have so much fruit this time of year, I decided to make my own fruit toppings for yogurt. When finished I ended up with 2 cups of topping. I use about 2 tbsp of topping for 1/2 cup yogurt.

Ingredients

    3 cups fresh washed blackberries
    3/4 cup of sugar
    3 tbsp cornstarch

Directions

Mix the sugar and corn starch together in a bowl. Put the blackberries in a sauce pan. Stir in sugar and cornstarch mixture. Cook on medium heat until mixture is thick.

Serving Size: 16 2-tbsp servings
