Introduction

Ingredients

    1 teaspoon oil or choice
    2 red peppers
    1 med onion
    75 grams red lentils
    salt,pepper,garlic powder,Italian seasoning to taste.

Directions

Finally cut up one onion and add it to a pan with the canola oil. Cook on low till the onions are nice and soft.

Cut up the red pepper and add to the onion pan and cover with a lid and let cook for about an hour until everything is nice and soft and reduced low.

Rinse lentils well and add and cover add water till the lentils are covered and cook over medium heat. When lentils are semi soft remove from stove.

Add it all to a blender. Add water if need to get it to blend.

Add in salt pepper, garlic powder and seasoning to taste.



Serving Size: Makes 18 tablespoons
