Sweet Potato Chili

Ingredients

    Sweet potato, cooked, baked in skin, without salt, 2.5 large (remove)
    Beans, pinto, 2 cup (remove)
    Onions, raw, 1 large (remove)
    Green Peppers (bell peppers), 2 cup, strips (remove)
    Jalapeno Peppers, 3 pepper (remove)
    Garlic, 3 clove (remove)
    *Tomato products, Hunts Diced Tomatoes w/ Basil, Garlic, and Oregano, 2 serving (remove)
    *Tomato products, Hunts Diced Tomatoes w/ Basil, Garlic, and Oregano, 1 serving (remove)
    **McCormick ground cumin, 1 tbsp (remove)
    *Dry Cocoa Powder, Unsweetened, 3 serving (remove)
    *Crushed Red Pepper Flakes, 4 tsp (remove)
    *Chili Powder, 8 tsp (remove)
    Salt, 1 tsp (remove)
    Pepper, black, 1 tsp (remove)
    Olive Oil, 1 tbsp (remove)
    brown rice (1 cup cooked), 3 serving (remove)

Directions

1. Chop and wash veggies. Combine all ingredients except for brown rice into crockpot and stir to combine.

2. Cook on low for 6-8 hours stirring very few hours.

3. Serve over 1/2 cup of cooked brown rice with a side of cornbread! Serves 6.
