2 cups red beans dry
6 cups water
1 tsp salt or sea salt
1 Tbsp corn starch
3 Tbsp vinegar
3 Tbsp brown sugar or molasses
Cook beans in 6 cups of water with the salt added,until
beans are soft,add the vinegar and sugars ,a little at a time
mix the corn starch with a bit of water add to beans,todesired thickness.
Serve with meatballs , fried pork, or sausage(bologna)
Serving Size: makes 6 servings @ 1.5 cups
