Introduction

This breakfast porridge is the perfect energy boost needed for an active day. The goats milk adds a sweet flavour and the cinnamon and raisins warm the soul. This breakfast porridge is the perfect energy boost needed for an active day. The goats milk adds a sweet flavour and the cinnamon and raisins warm the soul.
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    3/4 c. Reduced fat Goats Milk
    1 c. Rolled Oats
    1 tsp. Cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. Vanilla Extract
    1/2 tsp. Almond Extract
    1/4 c. Raisins
    1/4 c. Pineapple Juice
    4 drops Stevia Extract (natural sweetener)

Directions

Heat milk on stove top until hot but not quite simmering. Add Oats, cinnamon and extracts and turn down to low heat and simmer for 5 minutes stirring occasionally. Add raisins, pineapple juice and stevia extract (optional) and stir for another minute. Serve immediately.

Serving Size: Makes 1 1.5-cup serving
