Primal Nutella

Submitted by: KGERRING

Introduction

I typed up the recipe from a youtube video of a woman who made this. This is definitely not as sweet as the real thing, but its a good substitute for it while you're on a low-carb diet.

Number of Servings: 30

Ingredients

    16oz roasted hazelnuts
    3TB unsweetened cocoa powder
    1 TB Truvia (or Stevia)
? TB Coconut oil (You will be slowly adding this until you reach the desired texture. So it will be anywhere between 1-5TBs).

Directions

Roast the hazelnuts at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool, then remove the outer papery covering (which can impart a bitterness to the hazelnuts). Grind in a food processor until as smooth as desired, then add the cocoa powder and sweetener and grind until blended. SLOWLY add the coconut oil while the machine is running, and stop when the desired texture is reached.

Serving Size: The nutritional data is for 30 servings, but I'm not sure of the yield in oz or TB, etc

Number of Servings: 30
