Turnips, 5 small
Soy Flour, 1.5 tbsp
Hood , Carb Countdown Dairy Beverage, Fat Free, 1 cup, 1.25 serving (remove)
Heavy Whipping Cream, .125 cup
Salt, .5 tsp
Pepper, black, .5 tsp
Cheddar Cheese, 1 cup, shredded
Slice turnips thinly.
Mix flour, salt and pepper.
Layer 1/3 of turnips in 9x9 baking dish, sprinkle with 1/2 of the flour mixture. Repeat.
Finish with the third layer of turnips.
Mix milk and cream and scald slightly.
Top turnips with cheese, and pour the scalded milk over them evenly.
Bake covered for 45 minutes, uncover and bake an additional 15 minutes or until cheese is melted.
4 servings = 190 Cal, 12.2 Fat, 7.5 Carb, 1.5 Fiber, 12.7 Protein
