sheryl's simple version kimchi style coleslaw

Introduction

makes 6 (1 cup) servings of a slightly spicy coleslaw makes 6 (1 cup) servings of a slightly spicy coleslaw
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    Cabbage, fresh, 1 head, medium (about 5-3/4" dia)
    *Nakano Seasoned Rice Vinegar, 6 tbsp
    Granulated Sugar, 3 tsp
    *Canola Oil, 1 tbsp
    *McCormick Gourmet Collection Chipotle Chili Powder, 1/2 tsp

Directions

shred and chop cabbage.
rinse and clean in a fine sieve, let most of water drip.
in a plastic air tight container mix rice vinegar, sugar, canola oil, and chipotle chili powder.
add shredded cabbage.
cover and shake vigorously.
let sit in refrigerator at least 2 hours.

Serving Size: makes 6 (1 cup) servings
