Ground Chicken Meatballs & Spaghetti

Introduction

Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    Perdue Ground Chicken, 4 serving
    Egg, fresh, 1 large
    Bread crumbs, dry, grated, plain, .5 cup
    Parmesan Cheese, grated, 1 cup
    Parsley, .25 cup
    *McCormick GrillMates Montreal Steak Seasoning, 2 tsp
    Crushed Tomatoes, 28oz
    *Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 1 tbsp
    *Barilla PLUS Thin Spaghetti 1/8 box 2oz, 8 serving
    Crushed Red Pepper Flakes 1 tsp
    6 fresh Basil leaves
    1 clove Garlic

Directions

Start salted water boiling for pasta. Combine ground chicken, 1 egg, bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, chopped fresh parsley and steak seasoning. Preheat oven to 425' and spray a cookie sheet with PAM. Form chicken mixture into 16 meatballs and bake 15 minutes. Cook pasta to package directions. Over stove combine 1TBSP EVOO, 1tsp red pepper flakes and chopped garlic clove and cook over medium heat until garlic is fragrant then add 1 28oz can of crushed tomatoes. When meatballs are out of oven add them to sauce. Combine pasta with sauce and meatballs and top with chopped fresh basil.

Serving Size: makes 8 servings of 2 meatballs and 2 oz spaghetti
