2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups Splenda
1 tsp Baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 cup light margarine
1 tsp orange extract
orange zest, for garnish
In a small bowl, stir together flour, baking soda and baking powder set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together margarine and Splenda until smooth. Beat in egg and orange extract. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients. Roll rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into balls, and place onto cookie sheet.
Bake 10 minutes, or until golden brown. Sprinkle with orange zest. Let stand on cookie sheets for 2 minutes before removing to cool on wire racks.
Cool completely; store in airtight container.
