Gingerbread Cookies

Number of Servings: 80

Ingredients

    1 cup butter (2 sticks)
    1 cup packed brown sugar
    2 large eggs
    1 cup unsulfered molasses
    6 cups flour
    1 tsp baking soda
    0.5 tsp baking powder
    1.5 tsp salt
    4 tsp ground ginger
    4 tsp ground cinnamon
    1 tsp black pepper

Directions

1.) Mix the dry ingredients together (flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, spices)
2.) In a separate bowl cream the butter with the sugar
3.) Add the eggs and molasses and mix well
4.) Slowly start adding in all the dry ingredients
5.) Once everything is mixed, chill the dough for at least an hour
6.) Roll the dough out onto a floured surface and cut into shapes.
7.) Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes
