Ranville's Homemade Spaghetti Sauce

Introduction

one of our favorite family meals. Filling for sure! one of our favorite family meals. Filling for sure!
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    3 cans tomato sauce
    1 can paste
    1.5# ground sirloin
    1 onion
    5-6 cloves garlic
    1T crushed red pepper
    dried basil
    dried oregano
    dried parsley

Directions

chop onion and garlic. cook with red pepper flake in 1T Olive Oil until translucent. Add beef and 1/2 dried spices. Brown beef. Add tomato products and remainder of spices. Combine. Drop heat to low and let simmer 30 minutes or as long as desired. Serve over whole wheat pasta. I have also used leftover sauce as sauce and meat layer in lasagna.
