1-2 cups fresh basil
3 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder)
¼ cup water (or olive, opt-not included in calculation) as need
to blend the basil & garlic
Blend the above and add:
3 cups garbanzo beans, (if canned, rinsed and drained)
1-3 tbsp lemon/lime juice
1/2 cup Tahini
2 tsp chili paste or finely chopped, seeded jalapeno chili (more)
3 tsp umi paste
1 tsp salt
1-3 cups water, fresh or cooking water from the garbanzos as needed to blend. More if needed.
serve on toast for breakfast or as a dip for veggie sticks
Then add the rest of the ingredients and blend.
Adding more liquid as need to keep the mixture moving.
Serving Size: 36 1/4 cup servings (about 9 cups)
