Quick Chicken Cacciatore

Ingredients

    Chicken Thigh, 6 thigh, skin removed
    Tomato Sauce, with herbs and cheese, 1 can, 15 oz
    Swanson Natural Goodness Chicken Broth, 1 can
    Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 4 tbsp
    garlic powder
    salt
    pepper

Directions

Cut thighs in half, leaving one portion attached to the bone. Heat olive oil and half the garlic powder at med-high setting in a large heavy pan. Add the chicken pieces, sprinkling with salt and pepper. Brown on one side (about 5-7 minutes) then flip on the other. Season with more garlic, salt and pepper and cook until brown on this side (about 5-7 minutes.) Lower heat to low-med and add can of tomato sauce and can of chicken broth. Stir and cover. Let simmer for 40 minutes. Serve over pasta. Serves 4
