Oat Sosage

Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    3 ½ c. water, boiling
    ¼ c Bragg’s Liquid Aminos
    or low sodium soy sauce
    ¼ c nutritional yeast flakes
    2 T oil
    1 ½ T onion powder
    2T maple syrup
    2T dried sage
    1T Italian seasoning
    2 t garlic powder
    ½ T. Red Pepper Flakes


    3 ½ c OATS, quick-cooking
    4 eggs (or 6 egg whites), beaten

Directions

1 -Preheat CAST IRON SKILLET
2- Combine all ingredients, except oats and eggs. Mix well.
3- Add oats and stir well. Allow mixture to sit 5 minutes.
4- Spoon mixture into 2-inch 'patties'

Cook until set;
flip sausages and cook an additional 5-10 minutes.

TIP: Vary amount of the cayenne pepper to change the spiciness.
