Yogurt Rice

Introduction

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    * White Rice,longgrain,.5 cup
    * Yogurt, plain, low fat, 2 cup
    * Olive Oil, 2 tbsp
    * *Milk, 2%, .25 cup
    * *Hot Chili Peppers,2 pepper
    * Chana Dal, 1 tsp
    * Urad Dal, 1 tsp
    * Ginger Root, 1.5 tsp
    * Salt, .5 tsp
    * Black Mustard Seeds, 1 tsp
    * Finely Chopped Ginger,1.5 tsp

Directions

Prep-
Boil Rice and get the other ingredients ready.

Cook-
In a saucepan heat 2 tablespoonful of oil.
Add mustard seeds to the oil.
When the mustard seeds start popping add chana and urad daal.
After a minute, add in the ginger, coriander and green chilies.
Saute them for a minute. Take the pan off the gas.
Add in the rice.
Mix the salt
Just before serving, mix all the ingredients with yogurt (curd) and milk.
