(Originally to be a pasta dish but in a separate recipe) Slow cooker steak with barley, garlic, Worcestershire sauce and green beans... to be served with a side. (Originally to be a pasta dish but in a separate recipe)
Beef, round steak, .5 lb
Garlic, 6 tsp
Lea & Perrins, Worcestershire Sauce, 6 tsp
Barley, pearled, raw, .0625 cup
Green Giant Cut Green Beans, can, 1 cup
Onion powder, 1 tsp
Allspice, 1 tsp
Place round steaks on bottom of pot
Pour in water
Carefully place barley on top of each round steak and spread out to cover (1/2 tbsp each)
Cover each round steak/barley combo with minced garlic and carefully spread to cover (1 tbsp each)
Drain green beans and carefully fill in around the steak at the bottom of the pot, attempting to get them at or under the water-line.
Sprinkle the whole thing with the onion powder and allspice to season.
Cover and set on Low or Automatic.
