Introduction

Number of Servings: 24

Ingredients

    1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted & cooled
    1/4 cup canola oil
    2 2.5oz jars baby food pureed prunes
    1/2 cup granulated sugar
    1/2 cup splenda for baking
    1 cup packed brown sugar
    3/4 cup unsweetened baking cocoa, sifted
    1 cup unbleached flour
    1/4 tsp salt
    1 tsp baking powder
    1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips


Directions

Preheat oven to 350. Grease 9x13 baking pan. In large saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Allow to cool off the heat for 10-15 min. Stir in oil, prunes, cocoa & sugars until sugars melt. In sep. bowl, combine flour, salt, & baking powder. Stir into chocolate mixture just until blended. DO NOT OVERMIX. Gently fold in chocolate chips. Spread into baking pan. Bake 25-30 min. until pulls away slightly from sides of pan and you can smell the chocolate. DO NOT OVERBAKE! Cool on wire rack. Allow to cool completely before cutting - at least an hour.
