Berrylicious Smoothie with Ground Flax, Raw Cacao & Fresh Ginger

Introduction

A low-calorie unsweetened smoothie to brighten your day! A low-calorie unsweetened smoothie to brighten your day!
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1/3 c. Wyman's Frozen Wild Blueberries
    1/3 c. Wyman's Fresh Frozen Raspberries
    1/2 c. Stonyfield Yogurt (plain, low-fat)
    1/2 scoop Spiruteen Unsweetened Vanilla Protein Powder
    1 Tbsp. Raw Cacao Powder (I used Navitas)
    1 tsp. fresh ginger root, grated (preferably with ginger grater)
    1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1 cup. brewed green tea, chilled
    1 Tbsp. flax seed, whole
    3 ice cubes

Directions

1) Put the 1-Tbsp. of flax seed (whole) in a dry blender. Blend until it is ground into a fine meal.
2) Add the berries, yogurt, protein powder, cacao, grated ginger, cinnamon, ice cubes and green tea and blend until smooth.

Makes approximately 24 oz- enjoy!!!
