Introduction

This is my boyfriend's recipe for a curry. With these ingredients it comes out to be 4 portions that fill you up but not make you feel bulky. If you follow the Weight Watchers plan, this recipe is 6pp per portion with the new plan! This is my boyfriend's recipe for a curry. With these ingredients it comes out to be 4 portions that fill you up but not make you feel bulky. If you follow the Weight Watchers plan, this recipe is 6pp per portion with the new plan!
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    Ingredients:
Tesco British Beef diced, 440 gram(s) (remove)
Apples, fresh, 1 small (2-1/2" dia) (approx 4 per lb (remove)
    Milk, nonfat, 100 grams (remove)
Wholegraine Rice, long grain, 125 grams (remove)
    Curry powder, 1 tsp (remove)
    *Passata - Sainsbury's Italian, 300 gram(s) (remove)
    Mushrooms, fresh, 500 grams (remove)

Directions

start by browning the meat for a while in a pan misted with 6 fry-light sprays. When the meat is brown, add the mushrooms chopped in 4 and the onions. In the meantime, in a saucepan pour 1/4 of a pint of boiling water and add the gravy, the apple chunks and the curry powder. As soon as the vegetables start making water pour mushrooms and meat in the saucepan. Add the passata, some salt and ground pepper and, if needed, the milk (mine didn't need it in the end, it was thick enough). let it simmer for 30 minutes.

When it gets close to the time, boil some water and then place in it a bag of Uncle Ben's rice. Cook following the box's instructions and then open the bag and pour in the soucepan with the curry. Divide in 4 portions and enjoy :D
