Ingredients


    Fresh Sardines, 200 grams
    Lemon juice, 3 tbsp
    Oregano, ground, 1 tsp
    Salt, 2 dash
    Pepper, black, 2 dash
    Olive Oil, 2 1tsp

Directions

Clean sardines and remove heads

Combine lemon juice, olive oil, oregano, salt and pepper
and brush sardines,

Grill 2-3 minutes on each side and serve...

  • I have been cooking up smelts for ages, but I usually use an old Italian recipe that includes flour and oil. That recipe was an old standby because I have never found a better one. This one is healthier and it really does taste great. I added more salt, but that's about it. Delicious! - 7/4/13
