Introductionperfect for after dinner perfect for after dinner
1 Anjou pear, ripe
1/8 cup chopped walnuts
1/8 cup crumbled blue or rockfort cheese
scoop out 1/4 cup shallow long cavity by removing core with mellon baller
mix walnuts and cheese in bowl
add enough fruit juice to moisten mixure
place pears, cut side up in baking dish, lightly sprayed.
spoon cheese/nut mixture into pear cavities
back 8 inches from top element for about 20 to 30 minutes until pears start to brown at edges.
