Assigning Guests TasksGreet folks as they arrive.
Introduce them to other guests.
Some guests will ask to help. They want you to have fun and more time to enjoy the party with them.
Take them up on their offer!
Assign little tasks like:
Passing out appetizers
Keeping the trays refilled
Cutting cakes and pies for desert
Filling water glasses and lighting candles
Ask a music lover to take care of the music for the night.
Have someone with experience open wine bottles and pour wine for other guests.
Once all of the guests have arrived, walk them over to the table and introduce the wine and cheese samples.
