Chia & Fig Energy Chews

Introduction

Great running fuel. I start off with 2 about 30 minutes before, and then mid-run I'll chew another one or two. Great running fuel. I start off with 2 about 30 minutes before, and then mid-run I'll chew another one or two.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    cup macadamia nuts
    cup dry black figs
    cup tart dried cherries
    2 Tb. chia seeds
    1 tablespoon vanilla extract
    1 teaspoon ground ginger
    1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    teaspoon celtic sea salt

Directions

1.Place nuts, figs, cherries and chia seeds in a food processor. Pulse until well ground
2.Pulse in vanilla, ginger, cinnamon and salt
3.Remove mixture from food processor and use small scoop. form bars, and wrap in wax paper pieces.

Serving Size:12 individual chews
