Banana Cherry Walnut Granola

Ingredients

    1.5 c. oats
    1/4 c. wheat germ
    1/2 c. oat bran
    1/2 c. slivered almonds
    1 c. walnuts
    3/4 c. shredded sweet coconut
    1/4 c. plus 2 T. dark brown sugar
    1/4 c. plus 2 T. maple syrup
    3 T. honey
    1/4 c. safflower oil
    3/4 t. salt
    3 T. banana chips
    1/2 c. cherries

Directions

In large bowl, combine the oats, bran, germ, nuts, coconut, and brown sugar.
In smaller bowl, combine the maple syrup, honey, oil, and salt.
Mix altogether with the oat mixture, spread out on cookie sheet. Bake at 225 for about an hour, stirring carefully after every 20 minutes. Let cool, then add the bananas and cherries.

Serving Size: 1/3 c.
