Pan Seared Tilapia

Introduction

This is a low-calorie adaption of a recipe I found on another web site. I removed the flour, and the fillets are quite good without it! This is a low-calorie adaption of a recipe I found on another web site. I removed the flour, and the fillets are quite good without it!
Number of Servings: 5

Ingredients

    5 4-oz Tilapia Fillets
    Salt, Pepper, and Garlic Salt to taste
    2 Tbsp Olive Oil
    2 Tbsp Unsalted Butter

Directions

1. Rinse and pat dry the tilapia fillets.
2. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic salt to taste.
3. Heat olive oil in a skillet until very hot.
4. Sear fillets, flipping once to brown both sides, approximately 5 minutes per side.
5. When the 2nd side is almost done, cut up butter and place on fish to melt.
6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
