Introduction

Number of Servings: 26

Ingredients

    8 Cups regular oatmeal, uncooked
    2 Cups flaked coconut
    1 Cup brown sugar, packed
    2 Cups almonds, sliced
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 Cup vegetable oil
    1/3 Cup water
    1/2 Cup honey
    2 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions

Mix first five ingredients in large mixing bowl. Set aside. Combine oil, water, honey and vanilla. Pour over oat mixture. Toss to coat. Lightly grease 2 cookie sheets (12"x18"). Bake at 250 degrees, stirring every 15 minutes, for one hour until golden brown. Keeps well in airtight containers in the freezer.
