Pumpkin Spice Oatmeal

Introduction

Delicious when the weather starts to cool down! Delicious when the weather starts to cool down!
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 T un- salted butter
    1 cup Steel Cut Oats
    1 Cup 2% milk
    3 Cups Water
    3 T Maple Syrup
    1/2 tsp. Pumpkin Spice (or more to taste)

Directions

Heat butter in skillet on medium heat and when it is melted pour in the oats. Meanwhile heat 3 cups of water to boiling in separate pan. Once the oats have toasted a little pour boiling water on top and let simmer for 20 minutes. Add milk when 20 minutes is up and cook for another 10 minutes or until the oatmeal is creamy and has the consistency of Risotto. Add the maple syrup and Pumpkin spice and mix thoroughly. Serve warm... yum
