Gluten Free Teff & Millet Hot Cereal

Introduction

This is an easy, quick breakfast that tastes great! Great way to add whole grains to that gluten-free diet. This is an easy, quick breakfast that tastes great! Great way to add whole grains to that gluten-free diet.

Ingredients

    1/4 c. millet grits
    1/4 c. whole-grain teff
    1/4 t. salt
    1 1/2 cups unsweetened soy milk
    1/2 c. blueberries
    1 t. cinnamon
    1/4 t. nutmeg
    1 packet Truvia
    2 T. agave syrup
    4 T. sunflower seeds (hulled, of course)

Directions

In a large saucepan, mix the millet, teff, salt and milk. Bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is creamy and the milk is absorbed. Add the blueberries, cinnamon, nutmeg, sweeteners and sunflower seeds. Enjoy!
