Macaroni Casserole (a simplified Goulash)

Ingredients

1 1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 c. shopped onion
1 can diced tomatoes
16 oz. elbow macaroni
1 can creamed corn
6 slices cheddar cheese
Directions
cook meat and onions... drain... add tomatoes. simmer for 20 minutes (or while macaroni is cooking) Cook macaroni until al dente; drain. add macaroni and cream corn to the meat mixture. Pour into baking dish. Place cheese slices on top bake at 350* for about 20 min. or until cheese is soft and bubbly.
Serve warm with green peas and texas toast.
