3 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 cups butter (use 1 stick butter and 2 sticks of margarine)
1 3oz package of sugar free jello (I used black cherry - wanted red for Christmas cookies)
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup white sugar (I used 1/2 cup of Splenda for baking)
1 tsp vanilla extract
Cream butter/margarine, Splenda, and jello. Add egg and vanilla. Beat well. Gradually add flour and baking powder. Blend until smooth.
Refrigerate dough until firm (if using a cookie press, no need to refrigerate dough before use.) Otherwise roll into balls and press with the bottom of a glass with sugar. Use on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 400 degrees for 5 - 6 minutes.
