Ingredients

3 cups dried pinto beans
Onions, raw, 1 large chopped
1 Jalapeno pepper raw seeds removed, raw
2 tsp ground Cumin
1 tsp ground coriander
3 TBS chopped fresh garlic
1 tsp salt
1 TBS Bacon grease
Directions
Wash the pinto beans, and place in a crock pot. Add onion, jalapeno pepper, garlic, cumin and coriander. Add water so there is 2 inches of water above the beans. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. Add salt AFTER the beans are tender, and also the bacon grease if using.
