1 pound box of elbow noodles 1 stick of butter 1 tablespoon of flour 1 cup of milk 1 8oz bag of cheddar cheese 1 8oz bag of mozzarella cheese salt and pepper to taste.
boil pasta to tender, drain. in a sauce pan melt stick of butter, add tablespoon of flour. turn off fire add cup of milk. stir add butter mixture to drained pasta. stir ad half of the cheese to pasta. layer pasta in two layers divide remaining cheese evenly between the middle and top layers. cover and bake at 400 degrees for 30 mins uncover and bake remaining 15 mins til golden brown.
