2 sausage links (alfresco or similar)
1 medium size onion
5 garlic cloves
1 cup spinach
2 tbs red pepper and eggplant spread
6 slices 2% american cheese
1 can garbanzo beans (chick peas--used as a base for the soup to make it creamy)
2 cups of beef broth
Once the onion and garlic are soft add beef broth, sausage links, spinach, red pepper and eggplant spread, and cheese.
Grind up garbanzo beans and add last to the soup.
